American Idol-top 10 Girls Night

Up first is Krystal Bowersox- She apparently was very sick and didn't know if she was going to be able to perform. She sang Creedance Clearwater "As long as I can see the lightt"? If she was sick you would've never known it. She is simply amazing. Love this girl and her hippy ways. Didn't know the song but it really showed you that the girl can "sang"! Randy- says she's the truth and he loved it. Ellen said it was pure, raw, natural talent. Kara loved the song choice and said it was effortless and that she hit a new level. Simon- he said that he completely underestimated her from last week and that they have a really serious artist with her- another Kelly Clarkson. Go Krystal!

Haeley Vaughn-  she makes headbands and she can't make a mean face- what do you want she's 16! She sings Miley Cyrus' The Climb. I think the song choice was good for her and I liked her performance. Pitchy in a couple places but overall it was okay. Randy didn't like it and said it was pitchy and awful. Ellen felt that she didn't connect to the song. Kara said that she needs a year of strengthning her instrument. Simon said it was a complete and utter mess. Poor Haeley. But she'll be back next week because everybody thinks she's cute. But she's just not ready for the idol stage.

Lacey Brown is artsy-craftsy. She sings Katey Perry's Kiss me. She's a beautiful girl with amazing eyes. It was okay but pitchy in a few places but she looked like she was having alot of fun. Randy felt like it was a karoke performance. Ellen thought it was great despite the fact that she didn't change the song around. She thought it was adorable. Kara needs her to step it up. Simon said it was better but she needs to showcase herself and no-one is going to remember the song.

Katie Stevens can say give me a kiss in six languages. She sings Put your record on by Corinne Bailey Rae. It was okay but something about it felt phony- I don't know. Randy thought is okay and to have confidence. Ellen likes her voice and that she needs to be younger and she doesn't want to hear something that she would hear at the dentist office. Kara agreed to Ellen and said the song wasn't right. Simon says she's not telling the audience what kind of aritst she is. She'll be around next week.

Didi Benami was her middle school mascot. She sings Bill Withers Lean on Me. I didn't like it at all. It was pitchy and all over the place. Randy did not like the song choice. Ellen likes her voice and presence but she didn't like the song choice. Kara just says that it wasn't good and that she's inconsistent and it felt like Karoke. Simon said it was all over the place and that it was a bad choice of song. She cries because Ryan makes her.

MichelleDelamor works with kids. She's the children's choir director at church. She sings Creeds Arms Wide Open. Her dress is cute and so are her accessories. I didn't like her rendition of the song at all. I didn't like it and the ending was horrible. Randy thought it was pitchy but he liked the outfit. He said it fell flat. Ellen appreciated the change up of the song and she liked the song choice. Kara said it was her favorite performance from her- I don't get it. Simon liked it but Simon likes her and her outfit.

Lilly Scott plays alot of different instruments. She sings Sam Cookes A Change is gonna come. It was good. Randy said it was his favorite performance. Ellen said it was the best performance of the night. Kara was rivited and says that she's gonna change the game. Simon thought it was good but that Krystal was better- I agree.

Kattelyn Epperly was studying to be a recording engineer. She sings The Scientist by Coldplay. It's her first time playing an instrument on the Idol Stage. It was kind of weird and boring. Randy thought is was good. Ellen felt it was so slow that she fell asleep. Kara says she kinds loves her but that she's all over the place and when she gets to that "Sweet Spot" she's great. Simon says it was a million times better than last week but she has to be careful being corny.

Paige Miles likes to color and she sounds like a Valley Girl. I don't like her look and she reads so much older than she is. And I HATE the contact lenses. She sings Kelly Clarkson's Walk Away. She does have a great voice. Randy likes it but isn't sure that it was the best song choice. Ellen loved it. Kara actually wrote the song and said it was an angry song but she liked it. Simon says she's not choosing the right songs and that her performance was forgettable.

Siohaban Mangus had a mohawk and shaved it herself. She sings Think by Aretha Franklin. It was weird. Randy loved it. Ellen loved it too. Kara liked it. Simon said she's strange and that she's interesting.

Didi and Hailey should be going home this week.
